Useless. Took me months to get through. They finally processed my claim and denied me any access to mental health care because “of drugs and alcohol.” ????? I’ve been sober for 4 months???? It’s really unfair , I have been bounced around from place to place with no support no help . I tried really hard to get some help and you keep pushing me away. How many suicides is black dog responsible for with their absolutely useless system.
I can't recommend this place when the treating dr was determined to write me Anti-depressants and Anti-psychotic meds. I saw Dr Gordon Parker himself, who is the founder. In my experience I paid about $550 for 1-hour session being lectured down how I needed these things. I have simple medication. And, if you have ever dealt with the withdrawals and side fx coming off these things he don't seem to care. You are better off using free services such as Lifeline, SANE Australia & Beyond Blue. Great experience on the website. The main reason why I didn't go five stars, is the website crashes. But other than that it is a very balanced experience, and provides supreme tips for you mental heath and wellbeing.
Useless, go elsewhere. Waste of time
