a great place I got a cake and a cat portrait from this store. The cake was delicious. And the portrait of my cat Babe caught her just right. I swear ive seen Babe admiring it..... I even have a Christmas ornament from there with her picture painted on it. Unique describes this store .......its worth a visit.... The owners are true Texans.
Better than any place in Eastern TN! I have never visited the business, but about 3 weeks ago recieved a cake sent from the Black Dog Gallery - we live in E. TN. It was the best cake I have ever eaten (I'm old too) and I still don't know what kind of cake it was. I am now about to see if I am able to either decide what kind of cake and order one or place a call to them in the morning. Black Dog Gallery is my new favorite gift site...... WOW!! What great cakes. I can see this will be a wonderful choice for Christmas, birthdays, any event to send as a gift. My new favorite place!! And what a terrific, personal gift to send someone who doesn't live close enough to bake a cake for myself. Oprah should hear about this place!!
Black Dog Gallery is the best gift shop in East Texas. One of the most delightful afternoons I have spent in a long time - genuine friendliness and hospitality. I have never seen merchandise so beautifully displayed and I had so many choices for the special gift I bought. While shopping Carol served me wonderful cake that I am ordering for my out of town Christmas gift list. Can't wait until my next visit to East Texas and Black Dog Gallery.

Black Dog Gallery There is no other place like it in East Texas! Beautiful gifts, and they have the ability to customize any furniture. Their cakes are the best ever. I hope Oprah has this place on her next list!

great shop with great cake This was a fine experience. Slow, easy, great interior, music I could dream along with, and they are nice to people there. Plus, a big plus, they serve a great cake for sampling and purchase. The best cake I have ever had. I had one shipped for Christmas and it was just as good as I remembered.And, they LOVE dogs! Hence, the name. I recommend it highly.
Nice Store I have only visted the Black Dog Gallery once when living close by and the MIL wanted to stop in there to look. It is really a nice Building to look at. The Selection is nice but I didn't purchase anything. The Customer Service was nice too.
