We stayed there for 3 nights. Great place in the middle of the forest. 20 mins away from Hinton. Very helpful and accomodative staff. Offers a family atmosphere. Breakfast was great. They had snacks and tea/coffee available all day. Very quiet at night.

We had a rustic private clearing for our camping group with lots of grass for our horses. We brought our own electric pens. Perry got us water right to our camp ground as well as explained trails complete with a topographical map two of the mornings before we rode. Amber and Hillary visited us as well as a local family of riders. These are really nice people, and a beautiful place to ride. The Black Cat Guest Ranch is not a hotel, it is an experience. It is located well outside of any town, down a good quality dirt road. There was a small creek crossing that had about 1 inch of water - not a problem for any vehicle. The ranch has a huge property, lawn, horses, deer, hiking trails, fire pit and beautiful views. The lodge has no TV (not sure about cell service) but does have decent Wifi and a large library of books, mostly old. The rooms look you would expect for a ranch that was built in the 1970s. I neglected to photograph the room. Our stay was great. Breakfast in the morning. Sausage and eggs toast and fruit. Staff is friendly and approachable. Room was clean.
