Excellent food and service. Be hard to find BBQ as good as this in London. Soooooo much better than the tired chains such as Bodeans and Big Easy, which aren't actually real BBQ. Lots of thought gone into menu as well sourcing good quality produce.
I have come a long way to try this place and they wouldnt accommodate me insisting that I need a booking. Very poor. Most places will accommodate especially those who don't live in the country and the place is very difficult to get to in the middle of nowhere. They need to work on customer service.
Been trying every 'best burger spot' in London and this place and their burgers are incredible. The smoked patties gives it an absolutely unreal flavour and the patty is proper juicy. Best burger in London by far with no exaggeration. EDIT: been back a many more times since and confirming Black Cactus is still the best burger in London bar none. Amazing flavours, the BBQ tray was just fantastic, super soft brisket and delicious pulled pork and sausage, really unique flavours! Great venue for going with children as well, the only thing is that their booking system was showing full but we did a walk-in and there was a lot of tables still. Service was superb, brandy tasting and cocktails were excellent as well. Totally recommend 👌
They could say I traveled to London to have a burger for dinner on Friday and eat smoked BBQ on Saturday. It's not a false either true fact. On Friday, I enjoyed one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered The Miso Hoggy, recommended by people who had been there and whose opinion I trust.
