The fluorescent lights happened to be off making this space feel so much more inviting and relaxing! The ambiance was perfect and peaceful. Booking spa appointments offers spa specific lockers with a robe and slippers and a complimentary chocolate! Common shared locker rooms with other Rec Center goers. Our couples massage itself was wonderful—the therapists did a fantastic job, and we really enjoyed the treatment. However, the overall spa environment was not relaxing. The waiting area felt more like a hallway than a tranquil lounge, with fluorescent lighting and noticeable noise from the surrounding areas. Additionally, the spa shares a locker room with the rec center, which made getting ready before and after the massage feel less like a luxury experience and more like a busy public facility. I loved this place.. really made me think about being apart of the community or buying into the membership. Beautiful and friendly!
My group spent probably $1500 together at the spa and desk staff treated us like we were vagrants coming off the street. First off, we were told we could not borrow any towels and needed to purchase them for $18/towel from the gift shop. Given that spa treatments include access to the hot tub and pool, this is ridiculous. Luckily someone else finally told us (after purchasing towels) that we could borrow some from the spa. AWFUL! Tried several services, all awful. Please do yourself a favor and find a different spa.
