Chef Pickens and the team at Black Betty’s Bistro catered an event at Scarborough Public Library. About 150 people attended. The entire experience was 5 stars. They were flexible, creative and great to work with from the beginning to the end. The food was delicious and many attendees raved about it. The staff was friendly and helpful. It really made the event special to have them there. If you haven’t heard of them give them your business for your next event!

Black Betty's Bistro catered the first State of Black Maine Symposium in Portland this Juneteenth. Chef Louis and his staff were wonderful to work with and the food was delicious!!
We had the pleasure of ordering from Black Betty’s Bistro for thanksgiving this year. The food was scrumptious and the portions generous. In addition Chef Pickens worked with our dietary restrictions to make the meal extra special. A huge THANK YOU for helping to make our holiday away from home extra special and stress free!!
Chef Louis and his staff were attentive and the food was incredible. I would highly recommend to anyone having an event. Louis really cares and pays attention to the details. Black Betty’s Bistro is the best!
