I first enrolled my son when he was 4. He was having problems with hitting at home, as well as having problems focusing and following direction at home. I thought karate would teach discipline and focus. I was not disappointed! I saw immediate change in his attitude. Mr. Reyes and Mr. Thomas are amazing with the kids, all the instructors are actually. They know how to be firm with the children while also adding a little silliness. They really connect with each child and help them to build courage and character!
If you live in this area and looking into great activity for your kids I would highly recoment this place. My son just mastered adult black belt and has been with these guys since elementary school, now 10 grader in highschool and wants to continue as far as his future plans allow him. Very greatful to every single member of Black Belt Center. Very professional and caring!
This is only our grandson's second class and I have to say that I truly appreciate that Mr. Reyes incorporates life skills along with the physical aspects of the class. Understanding the world that we live in and being able to respond in a positive way is fundamental in being a successful human being and he promotes these values in a way the students can relate to them.
RecommendedDue to an overload of activities and homework for my 3rd grader, i decided to pull him out of karate. But My Reyes and Mr Thomas has truly made a hard-2-break impression on my son and we are back again at this center. These teachers are honestly good.
My son is 3 and has been enrolled for less than a year. Mr. Reyes was easily able to address the areas he needed to improve. This class makes a significant difference in our lives!
Mr. REyes and Mr. Thomas are absolutely amazing! My son is now 3, but has been enrolled sine he was 2.5. I love the way the kids are spoken to like people and not babies. He is firm and encouraging! My son has definitely learned to be more focused. He is now able to follow multiple step instructions both at home and at karate!
We love Black Belt Martial Arts. Excellent Instructors. My kids love going to class each week. Most importantly they learn valuable self defense skills and self discipline and control.
Our son has been going to Black Belt Martial Arts for just over a year now. When he started, he was so nervous we had to do private lessons just to get him in the room. Now he is a green belt on his way to blue. Mr Reyes is one of the most gifted teachers I️ have ever seen. He adapts to each child’s needs. My 4 year old son started here a few weeks back as we needed to help him focus and channel his high energy into a disciplined sport. This school is amazing - Mr Reyes and team work hard, fair and firm with all the kids creating a safe, fun learning environment. Excellent!
