My son looks forward to going to drum lessons every single week because of Mike Fix and his teaching style. He makes it so much fun that it isn't a chore to get my son out the door to go, and he is 5 so you know it can be a chore to get him out the door to go anywhere! He enjoys practicing throughout the week because he is excited to show Mike his progress. Mike is just as excited as his students are to see his students' progress every week. If you know of anyone looking for an EXCELLENT drum teacher, then Mike Fix is your guy!!! He teaches all ages and is extremely talented. He doesn't boast/brag but he is VERY well known in the industry locally, nationally, and plays/played with some famous musicians. He is patient, kind and has a knack for making the lessons seem like fun instead of work. Heck, he made me want to learn while I waited for Britt during her lessons.
