I had the pleasure of doing business with the owner of this company. This is a wonderful family owned business & I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.
I started to Tn back in September of 2025. I started having transmission issues. I wound up at Black Bear Transmission. I want to say thank you for your kindness and time. It definitely never be forgotten. They took the time to talk to me and and even making some phone calls. And again thank you for being so kind. May God bless and help you.
I took my car for transmission work at their old location on Pisgah Drive. They had to order a part, they told me it would be there in 2 days. I stopped by and they had my car driven over the pit, they were under my car taking off a part. This was hours after I had dropped it off. I asked how they got the part in so fast, the owner came charging at me in total anger. I had not been disrespectful at all. He was in my face cursing. I was shocked and it scared me to death. Didn't want to post a review right away, last year 10/24 my daughter and myself brought a load of donated supplies for hurricane relief ,the trans went out of my truck got truck to Black Bear transmission Monday morning ,10:00 Thursday we was headed back home. I was treated very Well, DID NOT get taken advantage of gave us rides between motel and shop.Its been a year since job was done no problems Thank You for the service
Kept my car for a month, and supposedly put a new computer thing in it and rebuilt the transmission. When I got the car back it was doing exactly the same thing it was doing when I took it in....so, it was "guaranteed" for a year. So I took the car back to them on a Friday and they called me on Monday and said it wasn't the transmission and they couldn't fix it.
