It was after we received the results of a radon test and learned it was higher than it should be that we became acquainted with Stuart C********* and his Black Bear Construction company. We had heard of them and seen his trucks in our neighborhood, so we gave him a call about our radon issue.He did an overnight radon test which indicated mitigation was advised for our house. BBB remodeled my lower level. We had new paint, carpet, and ceilings scraped throughout. In addition, we had our bathroom gutted and a glass walk-in shower installed. Estimates came in a little higher than expected so Stuart worked with us to pare down our costs. His crew were very professional and kept me informed about schedule changes. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were very careful about keeping things as dust free as possible after I explained that we had a dust allergy. Stuart, Tyler, and the team did a fantastic job with building our new kitchen deck. We had a huge tree fall on our deck and roof the previous summer. Black Bear Builders did excellent work with the repairs to our roof and the new build of our deck. They not only paid close attention to every detail, but they also listened to what we were looking for and kept us updated every step of the way. We highly recommend this company!
