Amazing place! As I have recently entered the Hyrox and Spartan Deka worlds along the way I have realized there are people out there who get it! Not only do they get it but they can teach it and well! If you are looking for such a place look no further! Mike, Jared, and this team know how to make you unstoppable! I always felt intimidated to try CrossFit, lots of insecurities and a lack of motivation held me back. But when I finally showed up at Black Bear Athletics, everything changed. Everyone there makes you feel welcome, they cheer you on, they truly motivate you and inspire you. Just like the coaches always say, “You just gotta show up!”

Black Bear Athletics is AWESOME!!! This is the second crossfit gym I've attended, but definitely not the second fitness class. The sense of community here is unlike any other!! From my first day, I walked in and was greeted with warm smiles from everyone. By the time the workout class started, I felt like I was already part of the team. There's always encouragement from the coaches and it really helps you push yourself. Plus, they're knowledgeable on alternative exercises if you need to scale for whatever reason.
