I usually really enjoy coming to this salon, but I was very disappointed with my most recent visit. I had my nails polished on Wednesday of last week, and by Monday — just five days later — the growth gap was already so noticeable that it looked like I needed a fresh manicure. Some of the ladies do really great work, but do not bother making an appointment, you will still end up waiting 30 min after your appointment time. They need to prioritize appointments over walk ins. I unfortunately will not be back because of this.
Always really clean in here and they do a nice job overall. HOWEVER I got charged an extra $5 for ‘special’ polish and I call BS on that. It wasn’t color changing or anything, just regular gel polish. Took the usual two coats, it had some sparkle but nothing I haven’t gotten a dozen times. Brand was ‘DC.’ No indicator on the samples in the color basket that it cost more. The person did warn me about it so there’s that, but I think it was something the shop is making up as they go.
