I joined CrossFit without knowing what it was. I was looking for a gym close to my place and saw that there was a class based gym about a five minute walk from me. I will say, it is NOT an easy workout, but I’m having a wonderful time and can feel my body getting stronger every class. CrossFit really pushes you to your limits, but it pushes you to limits that you weren’t aware you could even reach before. A month in and really liking it so far! The instructors are patient, give helpful corrections, encourage all levels and there's a real community vibe —exactly what I was looking for when I switched.
