This was our first and worst experience at BJ’s. While scanning our items, one product would not register. The machine repeatedly asked us to call for an associate. We did—twice. Both times, the associate brushed us off, saying the weighing was fine and to just keep scanning, insisting it was “just the machine.” After finishing, we went to checkout. In and out faster then Costco and better parking...only issue is gas line
Countless reviews saying the same thing. Loads of employees around chatting, zero registers open. You’re insanely lucky if you go one day and they have one register open. They expect you to go to self checkout with a cart filled with groceries, to the point where the scale is so filled it says you need to unload it and then continue scanning the other half of your cart.
