TJ is amazing! We come back all the time just to see him and have another beer! TJ is truly the best, BUT we got home with our carry out food and the kitchen forgot to include the black beans with the tacos. Ugh.
It was pretty good overall but I'm disappointed because they left the mushrooms off my pizza. I ordered the great white mini deep dish pizza with side salad. Don't get me wrong, the pizza was good, but I love mushrooms so much and was excited about them. I didn't say anything at the time because I only glanced at the menu when I chose the pizza, and I was pretty sure it was supposed to include mushrooms, but not 100%. There are a lot of talented and personable servers and bartenders here, but I want to say that TJ goes above and beyond. There’s always a great conversation, like catching up with a friend, and the drinks and food are always exactly as I expect. He’s a credit to the restaurant, and reason enough to visit, even before the great meal and libations.
We enjoyed the calamari here a lot, nice breading and dips. Also definitely recommend the fun cocktails, the boba margarita was awesome . Yummy sandwiches and friendly service as well.
