I had an appointment for 11 am. I arrived 15 minutes early as I always do for any appointment. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment to start the exam. Although the tech apologized, waiting 30 minutes after an appointment is no longer an appointment and more like a walk in.
The staff is very nice. I must question the equipment or training as my exam could not continue due to issues with the photos of my eyes. I was told could be due to cataracts or other causes. I went this morning to the eye place I've used in the past, obviously concerned. The Dr( not a tech) said there is absolutely no issues at all with my eyes, no cataracts, his words: extremely healthy. I will bring in my script to have a pair of glasses made as your prices are good.
I took my daughter there for her glasses. It was buy one get one free. It still was a very expensive process, and both of her glasses continually fell apart. We have been back to BJ's at least 12 to 15 times to constantly repair both pairs of glasses. One set were wire frames, one set was plastic, but it didn't matter as they both continually fell apart to the point where they super glued one of her glasses. Doctors give conflicting vision assessments.....doctor insisting I have a certain problem that I don't have even after I told them I had retina surgery and it could take months until my vision is better.
