The guy working there, Dave, was exceedingly unfriendly and seemed like he was looking for any excuse not to help me. Optometrists used to adjust anyone's glasses as a courtesy to anyone. Dave refused to even look at mine after I told him that I bought them online, saying he would be liable if they broke. Then I asked if he could measure my PD (something optometrists have always done as a courtesy in my experience). He again refused, saying that he could only do that as part of an exam.
