I was lucky that my wife's GP had a hip replaced by Dr Bjorn Smith and the GP highly recommended Dr Bjorn Smith to us. I had a total left hip replacement with Dr Smith. Dr Smith, Kylie London and the team exuded kindness, understanding and genuine compassion. I was able to load bear on day 3 on the operated leg post surgery and able to walk without crutches before leaving the hospital on day 4.
I had a total left knee replacement April 2025. Pre, during and post surgery Dr Smith was excellent in providing information, building trust and providing any and all information requested. I just returned to Australia after a month in Europe doing a lot of walking on uneven cobble-stone Roman streets.
