I cannot recommend this emergency department based on my experience. I came to the ER by ambulance around 8:00 PM because I was experiencing severe acute back pain related to my SI joint and lumbar degenerative disc disease. I was unable to walk. Although I initially declined pain medication because I wanted imaging first to make sure I hadn’t herniated another disc, I expected timely evaluation and compassionate care. Wife came in to ER with worries regarding her life threatening vericees of the throat bothering her and a liver duct thrombosis which puts her at higher risk of bleeding.. 4 hours (true) before any ER staff even checked on her to ask if she was OK. They kept going by the room and purposely ignoring her. Totally unacceptable even if busy to not even stop in to check. Total lack of any semblance of patient care.

If I could give this place a 0 I would I brought my mother in at 8pm on the 26th of may for possible infections in her legs. The way she described it was that they were just trying to dismiss our concern the doctor took an hour and a half to see her then wouldn’t even examine her until the nurses took her wraps off. Then it took him another hour to come back and said he saw no infections but that he has never seen legs turning different colors. Not trauma-informed AT ALL go somewhere else. Called ahead regarding a serious situation and they gave incorrect information. Then when there did not give victim privacy by having multiple staff members asking questions in front of other patients which is a HIPAA violation
