I have been having an intermittent issue with my Subaru Forester for the pay 12 months. Despite taking it to 3 separate so called professional Mechanical Repairs Shops the problem kept reoccurring. On a recent trip to Toowoomba it was suggested by a relative that I should make an appointment with Downs Auto Cure. Went in for an oil leak diagnosis which i was quoted $80 and ended up paying $350 for spark plug replacement that i did not ask for or give the thumbs up for. Was then quoted $3,500 for a complete turbo replacement (later had the turbo diagnosed by a specialist who said there was NOTHING mechanically wrong with the turbo). Then was accused of not using the correct fuel in my car based on the condition of the spark plugs.
