I suffered a serious concussion and was in immense lower back, shoulder, and headache and jaw pain along with vertigo and dizziness around 4 years ago. I had shoulder pain after a severe fall and was worried I'd torn my rotator cuff. Instead of beginning the examination by ordering a CAT scan, which most doctors seem to do automatically these days; Dr. Kuruvilla examined my shoulder by using hand pressure and rotating my shoulder in a variety of positions. The procedure appeared to take about 30 minutes. This has now been resolved with a bit more than a copay but less then the foolishness that was being wronfully sought. I was inconvenienced/stressed by them for a few months so I will equal the time posted for this review before it comes down. $1,340.00 billed for initial consultation so make sure your insurance is correct as this was supposed to be in network! Beware Dr. Bit Kuruvilla is nice but this has been a nightmare from the billing department and Fidelis my insurance provider stated in writing I should not be liable ... read more
