Wedding I went to a wedding at this function hall. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. The wedding coordinator appeared to be over organized to the point the wedding started around 45 minutes late. However, the atmosphere was gorgeous.
Excellent Food in Small Town Atmosphere The atmosphere at Bittersweet is very relaxing. They converted an old barn into a beautiful restaurant..high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows. The food is very elegant. Portions are not very large but the food is excellent. It's recommended that you make reservations. Once a month they have a Brunch on Sunday. That is highly recommended. The best brunch I have ever been to.
Quality food and service My wife and I are frequent visitors to Bittersweet, averaging at least twice a week. We have for the most part enjoyed every aspect of trhe Tavern. Although I may have been served a meal which I sent back. 99.9% of the time the meals were excellent. Don't be afraid to ask your waitress about anything on the menu. The 2 waitresses I tr to deal with Nanette and Erin are excellent with knowing what is really good. All the waitresses I find are very attentive to your needs.
