Great coffee and bakery!
Life has its bittersweet moments, and I’ve found one of the sweetest right here on Magazine Street. I’m in New Orleans for medical treatment for the next several months, and while my journey hasn’t been the easiest, I’ve discovered that kindness can be as comforting as chocolate. I ordered a birthday cake , the funfetti cake, and asked if they could add more funfetti and disco dust and to please make it over the top sparkly and then some more- i went out of my way to explain it . What my son did receive on his birthday dinner was a plain white cake with the candles. For anyone who is asking for a bit of personalization or modification of their standard cakes - make sure to ask them to take a picture and approve it prior to delivery . Opera cake was delightful!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. I made a pick up order for a cake for 2 MALE attorneys who just passed the bar exam. I SPECIFIED THAT THEY ARE MEN. The cake I received was a pink cake with florals and SLOPPY handwriting. It was so ugly. Why in the hell would I give 2 men a pink cake ?? They also made some letters capitalized and some lowercase.
