One of my favorite things about Industry City is how many high-quality spots it has, and how it’s usually half empty. Bitter Monk fits right in. It’s a perfect place for a thoughtful cocktail without the crowds. My wife and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon while our son was celebrating a birthday with his friends at the Brooklyn Battle Blaster Nerf Arena nearby. Absolutely loved The Bitter Monk! The atmosphere is so chill, relaxing, and welcoming, it’s the kind of place where you can just settle in and enjoy yourself. The drinks were amazing, especially all of the unique flavored options. Everything we tried was delicious and full of flavor, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into what they serve. Such a great spot to relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy the vibe. We’ll definitely be back!
The best hidden gem of Brooklyn… emphasis on the hidden. There should really be more signs leading customers to this beautiful establishment, as it’s in a remote corner of Industry city. I went on a busy Saturday where Industry City was buzzing, but I was only one of three customers at Bitter Monk for the hour I spent there. Cocktails and snacks are thoughtfully crafted, perfect for a cozy but sophisticated date spot. Spread the word :)
