If you get referred to him, immediately call member services and get it redirected. He never has appointments available for months. His staff do not save an appointment for urgent matters. They do not keep cancellation list for those who need to see him. He is a one man operation no PAs or anybody you can get in to get some help while you wait. Please do what I wish I did a month or so ago. As my issue is only getting worse and have to start the referral process all over again bc you can’t get into see this doctor.
They have no voicemail set up. That should tell you most of what you need to know. Incredibly long wait to schedule an appointment; waste of time attention and effort
Dr. Bitter has treated me several times for a severly broken wrist & again for a broken wrist (not related to the first one) and an "exploded" shoulder per my referring doctor, Dr. Lewis). Dr. Bitter was fantastic both times. I can't find enough words to describe his expertise! I have had no expected pain years' after his surgical skills. Amazing results!! Thank you Dr. Bittar.
