Food was sitting behind the counter getting cold and the lady said there is nothing ready yet. I pointed to the sandwich behind the counter and she reasured me nothing was ready yet. 10 minutes later she brought me the same sandwich and I said "you told me nothing was ready yet and that's been sitting behind the counter" and she said "it wAsent ready because I wasn't ready". We had another delightful gathering at our local Bites and Bashes, in Lomita, to celebrate with a friend from out of town. Although there is always seating available, I went early wanting a specific table and was happy to see that it was open upon my arrival. After setting out some decorations, I went to speak to the wonderful server, hatching a plan for a “birthday cake” for our friend. Local gem, great place to treat yourself or take out of town guests. Creative menu. I've tried lots of it and haven't gone wrong yet. Best breakfast burrito in the area imho.
