Horrible doctor, she will disfigure you!
She took a tumor out of my left eyelid and from underneath my right eye. Even though this wasn’t my first surgery, I was extremely nervous because it was my first eye surgery. Her and her team listened to my fears and took wonderful care of me!
First but least of all she is very arrogant and rude.She makes you feel like you are taking up her valuable time. I trusted her because she works at MD Anderson but don’t be fooled by that.Prior to surgery I was strapped down feet ,arms and head. I assume this is standard , however at some point during surgery doctor Esmaldi for a reason (unbeknownst to me at the time)took me out from under the anesthesia.She proceeded to be very upset with me even as I was disoriented and confused. Dr. Esmaeli provided excellent care to my wife. Her staff was excellent as well.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist I refer patients to Dr Esmaeli when they have grave problems that could cause them to lose an eye or even their life. I am so very grateful that we have her expertise here in Texas.
