Called Bistro Campagne at 6 PM on a Friday to see if they had a table for two. We were told the earliest reservation was 8:45 PM, so we showed up around 7:30 fully prepared to wait. The restaurant had been recommended several times in Chicago Reddit communities, so I was expecting much more. We walked in and the restaurant was half empty.
