The food and atmosphere were amazing but the service not so much. I've worked in food service and know no server wants a single diner especially on a busy day. I'm usually a heavy tipper and compensate well for their time. I make it clear I wanted my breakfast and wine then coffee and dessert. This was my big outing for the week and I was so looking forward to it. I hadn't even taken one bite of my food when my dessert and coffee showed up. I've never felt so rushed and took the hint. Won't eat in such an expensive place again, although the food was okay. decor is nice. However, they like to leave their kitchen door wide open throughout the year (with and without fans) so bugs, dirt, etc can get in the kitchen AND YOUR FOOD. Restaurants ARE NOT allowed to do this, and their little magnetic screen does not fit and blows around in the wind from the fans. Great upscale place with a very diverse menu, fabulous deserts, and flexible enough for almost any attire to fit in. As expected the service was very good. We had a larger group and everyone was satisfied for the most part. I had the ribs and they were so tough that it was a chore to pry them apart with a fork. I was told they had not been that way in the past, so perhaps the additional wait time for the duck ordered by another petson in our party was the cause.
The food for lunch was fantastic we had Doubled eggs which were great I even decorated to look even better! The sandwiches were fantastic can not wait to check out the dinner service.
