Bistro 45 is a very hot spot on the quickly rising East Side. Located in Pasadena, this Cal-French hybrid offers the best of both worlds. The wine list is fantastic, the decor is tasteful, and the mood is romantic. Be sure to save room for the always exquisite desserts as well. Those who live by the Rose Bowl do not have to make the drive for quality European anymore. Forget that immediate impulse, though. Rising popularity has made reservations here a must.

We go here every year for my mom's birthday, and I think I look forward to her birthday as much as she does, because we LOVE Bistro 45!!!! The setting is so romantic & intimite, and the service is unobtrusive, yet very personable, and the food is always on point. The calamari and shrimp appetizers are unique and so yummy, and the duck and skirt steak entrees are out of this world! There are no bad choices on the wine list, or the dessert menu. The lemon tart trio is perfect in the summertime.
Daily specials are amazing (and priced very well.)
Very friendly, attentive, non-pushy service. Classy AF. Creamy cod with crispy skin was yum.The albacore tartare was really fresh. Organic berry trifle was delish.

Lovely dinner and superb service! Loved the beet goat cheese salad and tempura green bean appetizer!
Great service and delicious dishes. I had the hangar steak and my friend had the Salmon with risotto. Both wonderfully Tasty!
