Great vet, great staff – My husband and I have been taking our animals to see Dr. Dawson for 3 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. They've always made time to see our animals on the same day we called for an appointment, and when our dog had to have major surgery, Dr. Dawson diagnosed the condition immediately and made a stellar recommendation for a wonderful surgeon. If you're looking for a loving, attentive staff, avoid this place. – Having just moved to Houston, I was a bit hesitant about boarding our Frenchie in a new place without any personal recommendations beforehand, and as it turned out, I was rightfully worried. $55 to use a syringe? c'mon. – the vet did not seem very dog friendly, and was very clinical. he did not try to reassure the dog, but brought in an assisstant to hold the dog down (which was not necessary, he was being very good.) the exam room was claustrophobic and what should have been a $45 office visit turned into $205. my dog had a cyst which the vet couldnt explain, so he drew some fluid from the swelling($55!!, i could have done that myself, and why wasnt it included in the office visit!?!?! it took a second, not exa... read more
