I was a first year student at Texas state and decided to lease a 3 bed and 3 and a half bath unit. The model apartment we were shown looked an actual mansion compared to what I got. I also got the garage to myself but there was a MASSIVE roach problem. They brought someone out to take care of that but it did not work to any extent. Apartments are a little banged up but Shane completed my work order timely and even went the extra mile to ask if I need anything else. The front desk is also very attentive and nice. But the kicker is this awesome pool. Edit: I have add +1 star after my second year at Bishop Square. After my AC went out in my building at the start of Texas Summer Emma Brown was very, helpful, kind and communicative about fixing it in a timely and professional manner.
The hidden fees come out of nowhere. So many given with no explanation. First day my roommates and i moved in our unit flooded in the middle of the night and lots of our belongings were ruined. Staff is sort of helpful sometimes but has also been rude on multiple occasions. No sort of property manager you can ever talk to. Always in “meetings”. That’s what happens when you manage three poorly reviewed apartment complexes in one town.

I’ve had a really frustrating experience living at Bishops Square. There’s been an ongoing fire ant problem in my room that still hasn’t been taken care of properly. Pest control came without giving any notice, which meant I wasn’t home to move my dog so they didn’t spray my room at all. My roommate’s room was sprayed once in just one spot, and I’m still getting bit constantly. On top of that, I’ve had multiple times where my toilets weren’t flushing both upstairs and downstairs and maintenance takes forever to respond. For ... read more
