This is a must see if you are ever in the area. I would wear some kind trail or hiking shoes. The ground can be slippery in places.
Bishop Castle. Pretty cool place west of Pueblo
This is a quirky offbeat free adventure. I read the founder of Colorado Springs built this Castle and used to live in it (not sure though). It is definitely a unique place and worth the trip if you're in the area. It's about 20 miles off of the highway. Be careful and watch where you step, there are a few broken steps or loose flooring - there is a sign stating they are not responsible for accidents. Go enjoy the cool views, winding staircases and balconies.
