Been to A&E today with my 1 year old daughter. So basically she hasn’t been well for the past week or so and I rang up the doctors today and they sent me through to bishop hospital and they checked her out and listened to her chest and took a look at her throat. The doctor who had seen her said that it’s just a “viral infection” but he could hear how croaky her chest was and she hasn’t been drinking her milk or been wanting any foods but apparently that’s okay. We are new to the area and my mam had to have a chest xray. When she rang to book appointment, a lovely lady called Louise arranged this. Louise was very patient and sorted the appointment out. When we arrived at the hospital, we booked in at reception and it was the same lady. She us very welcoming and even remembered my mam from talking to her on the phone. Louise is a credit to the hospital. Thank you

Recently on Ward 18 for a Total Knee Replacement. I have to say, I had a very very positive experience here. From start to finish. Well organised, Very caring nurses, made this a very positive experience. The food is really nice also. They work so hard to get you better. Everyone I came across was super friendly, Polite and also very respectful. My only slight reservation is that you have to be persistent for pain relief as its not forthcoming, but overall, I had a very positive experience before and after my op, and I will ... read more
