Never Going Back!
This was the worst experience I have had with any restaurant in a long time. I cannot comment on the food because we never received ours. I can say that the bar service was ridiculously slow and disorganized. In all, I would recommend that no one ever eat at this establishment. We sat in the upstairs karaoke area, which was a really bad idea. While one hostess was checking our IDs at the top of the stairs another hostess pushed past us without so much as saying âexcuse meâ. As soon as we got past the first hostess the rude one turned around and demanded to see our IDs again. Once we were in the karaoke area, we were unable to get a drink either from a waitress or from the bar, so checking our ID was kind of pointless. The bar tender had no idea what he was doing and it was the messiest bar Iâve ever seen. We tried to order three times and he either turned away and ignored us after we ordered or he would disappear into the back room for 10 minutes and then come back out and act like he had never seen us before. The worst part of the evening though, was the fact that the restaurant was allowing people to smoke inside. We first tried to open a window so we wouldnât have to sit in the smoke filled room but a hostess came up to us and told us to shut the window because the noise would be too loud on the street. We asked her to ask the smokers to stop but she just turned around and walked away. After an hour and a half without successfully getting a drink or anything to eat we left.

Horrible Service, Left Hungry and Frustrated
This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The food is great, but if you want to have the worst service and have waiters not care about anything, then this is the restaurant for you. I really hope that if you are reading this review, you will NOT consider visiting this restaurant. Upon arrival to Bishamon, our drink orders were taken quickly but after our drinks were brought to the table, no one came to our table to take our food order. After about 15 minutes, I asked the sushi chef to get our waiter. One waiter came by and after we told him our order, he tells us to hold on (without writing anything) and walks away. As we sat there dumfounded, wondering what was going on, another waiter came by after about 5 minutes and really took order -- tuna carpaccio and 2 dinner combos -- and repeated our order as we were giving it. Soon thereafter, the tuna came out and 1 dinner combo. Just as we thought that our earlier experience was turned around, after about another 15 minute wait, I asked the sushi chef to get our waiter (for the 2nd time). The waiter came and I asked him about the other dinner combo and he responded like he had not heard our order of the 2 dinner combos - only 1... Frustration finally kicked in so my boyfriend went up to the kitchen to speak with the only 2 waiters about how bad the service has been. They did not respond in any productive manner and my boyfriend just asked for the 2nd dinner combo to just be packed up to-go. After we sat back down, the sushi chef came by and told us that he overheard the conversation with the waiters and advised that our dinner would be âon the houseâ. After about another 10 minute wait, one of the waiters brought over ice cream in a to-go container. We waited about another 5 minutes and then my boyfriend again went up to the kitchen to ask about the to-go order of the dinner combo. One of the waiters then told him that they did not make the order⦠The kicker is that we were the only people in the restaurant so really there was no excuse for how we were treated.

Bishamon
This is a Japanese Sushi restaurant that meets all expectations. The sushi is good and the ambiance is really romantic and charming. Bishamon and old town Covina is a great date spot.

Nothing great.
This place has a B rating people! Run away fast!!! There are plenty of little dinner spots in downtown Covina no need to waste time here.
