If I could give Biscayne Animal Hospital 100 stars, I would. For years, I brought my dog to a veterinarian on Miami Beach. About three years ago, I noticed that whenever I took my dog for a walk, he would scoot his backside across the grass and seemed to be in discomfort. I brought him to the vet to find out what was wrong, and I was told that he needed to have his anal glands expressed. This seemed to solve the problem, at least temporarily. I don’t understand why anyone would board or leave their dog here overnight or even worst during the weekend. They close at 2pm Saturday and Sunday they are closed. Dogs cry and cry the entire weekend. It is awful. I asked the staff their protocol and they stated some dogs can be a little dramatic but someone comes to fed and walk them. How can anyone think putting your dog in a kennel all day and night to just be feed and taking to pee and poop when a person stops by is sufficient enough?
