Amazing birth experience here. The nurses and midwives are so kind and helpful.
Billing here is an absolute scam. The nurses I encountered couldn’t care less. Dingy and out-of-date environment. Food is inedible. Cleanliness doesn’t exist. There isn’t even a nursery for babies. How is this possible? The only positive is the pediatrician who is very pleasant. I would recommend going to South Shore (in Weymouth) for a positive birthing and recovery process - the nurses and team there are phenomenal.
Can't say enough good things about the birthplace. I had my first baby in September and had a few minor complications during delivery (he had to be vacuumed out and I had preeclampsia). We were astounded with the efficiency of the whole team during the whole ordeal- all the while remaining calm and comforting us every step of the way. I had some problems with breastfeeding due to my son's tongue tie and my inexperience but the lactation consultants and the nursing team were fantastic and so helpful. We had a tough and arduous labor- I’ll spare the details. Just wanted to take a second to commend one of the nurses, Kathryn. She was amazing and my wife said multiple times how she wouldn’t have gotten through it without her. She was the perfect mix, of kind, caring but matter of fact about the task at hand, providing comfort, but also realism, that helped my wife feel not alone.
