Very bad experience. Nurses collapsed every vein I have in my arms. It was so bad the phlebotomist refused to do any more blood draws. I was blamed by doctors for this when I signed myself out. I was told I had bad veins and it was my fault this happened. I was on a no food restriction and suppose to be on around the clock iv. The nurse didn't do it, then when she saw the iv orders she laughed and oh ooops, well it's fine. I'm pregnant and by the time I left my pee was brown from dehydration. I'm currently patient here now just had baby via c-section my Doctor was awesome but the staff at hospital nurses care partner Disappear and you see them far and in between. I've had 3 children and never experienced where you have to call and call to request anything/ and everything now I was in different state (NC) maybe it's Tennessee thing not sure! Hoping it get better over next couple of days will update!
I delivered my baby boy 1 month ago here. Angela B., Olivia B., and Caitlyn G. were my nurses, and each of them went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind throughout my entire experience. Delivery is such a vulnerable and emotional time, but they truly cared about me as a patient and made that so evident in the way they supported and encouraged me. Wow! Cannot say enough about how amazing the care team at St Thomas was during our labor & delivery. Emma, Maddie and Megan were our nurses and I’m so thankful for them. They made our stay extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
