I delivered my baby boy 1 month ago here. Angela B., Olivia B., and Caitlyn G. were my nurses, and each of them went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind throughout my entire experience. Delivery is such a vulnerable and emotional time, but they truly cared about me as a patient and made that so evident in the way they supported and encouraged me. Wow! Cannot say enough about how amazing the care team at St Thomas was during our labor & delivery. Emma, Maddie and Megan were our nurses and I’m so thankful for them. They made our stay extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
For a birthing center, they weren't very prepared for my wife to give birth. As background, we have had two babies before and been in hospitals around others' births, so we have an idea of what to expect. Came into the hospital from a birthing center after the baby was having some low dips in her heart rate. the care team at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown were absolutely incredible during the delivery of my daughter. The nurses were above and beyond any expectation I had for my first baby. I did not have the smoothest/textbook labor experience and at every new development I truly felt I was cared for, attended to and guided in the best direction medically by both my nurses and Dr. Sledge.
