This is my second baby. With my first child I took courses with an academy and while it was great this was so much more personalized and extremely informative. I loved Kamilah’s energy- no sugar coating but also not alarming. Her attitude was positive while the information was scientific and realistic. Finally getting around to writing this review now (almost a year later, oops) but honestly I had the best experience with my doula Nesha. She made sure my VBAC experience was everything I wanted it to be. Very communicative, attentive and professional.
Kamilah is incredible! She took such incredible care of our baby and was so helpful! She has such a calm and warm energy! We enjoyed working with her and learned so much from her! Highly recommend!
I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. I worked with Kamilah (pronounced Kamahyah). She is a lovely, well spoken, educated, credentialed and compassionate woman who has a vast network. At 40 years old, melanated, and seeking a VBAC after past medical trauma, I struggled to trust hospitals or providers. I wanted a VBAC but didn’t really think at first I could have one.
