We first met Dr. Anna following a miscarriage in 2023. When we were pregnant again and discovered that she now had her own practice there was no question we would drive from Lake Stevens to Bellingham to have her as our OB. I recently had my 4th baby, previously having 2 hospital births and a birth center birth. My births haven't gone exactly smoothly and I was desperate for a redemptive experience with my 4th. I have had a chance to have a redeeming birth with Dr Dowling after a traumatic first birth experience of emergency c section. I had a successful vbac unmedicated and felt so empowered at every apt leading up to birth having so much peace and excitement to give birth that it became the reality! My wife and I could not of had a better birth experience. Dr. Anna Dowling is the absolute best! It was a joy working with her from the very start of pregnancy, all the way to her putting our baby in our arms.
