Hira was my doula almost 8 years ago. She came almost immediately when she I messaged her about my labour and was extremely supportive and helpful during the entire time. I especially remember the time when I went for a walk with my husband in the hospital hallway and every time I would get contractions she would come and rub my back to bring some comfort. I would highly recommend using Hira as a doula. She gave me great pre-birth support (especially for my first child) and was amazing during both labours. She was essential in both of my births to help make me comfortable with the pain by using different methods of pain management and breathing techniques. She was a constant source of support and advice and knowing she was there put me at ease. After my first, I knew I couldn't do another birth without her. I was unsure about doula services but Hira explained her scope of services very well for me as compared to a midwife. I was glad to have her with me before and during my birth as she provided me with great resources pre-birth and good breathing techniques to manage pain. Would recommend her to anyone looking to have that intimate support during their pregnancy and labour!

Hira was my doula for my first baby. I had absolutely no idea going into pregnancy, labor and delivery about anything child related apart from what I saw on tv. I thank Hira the most for educating me about my rights and choices as a mother. I also thank her for educating me on all the pros and cons of various decisions i had to make during labor and delivery that most new mothers do not know about. My husband and I recently took a prenatal class with Hira. Like most first time parents, both of us were apprehensive but left the class feeling reassured and a lot more confident. The biggest fear I have as a new mother is uncertainty of what comes next and whether I am capable of being able to endure it. Hira was quite successful in alleviating a large part of that fear.
