Jen could not have been a more amazing birth assistant to Luanne at our home birth. She was super calm, positive, talked me through each contraction and push, and was an incredible lifeline throughout the entire birth. I had an amazing birth experience in large part to her expertise, kindness, and help. I cannot recommend her enough!
I really loved having Jen as my Doula. Her birth education class really helped me understand the process and different paths births can take. While I was in labor, she was very helpful in helping suggest positions to ease the pain, and helping my husband help me. She also was a great sounding board when I needed to make decisions and a very large comfort to have someone who knew me during the delivery process. Birth by design is amazing. When I was a first-time mother I stressed out that I would not be able to get the my doctor because they're set on a rotation. I was worried about who would advocate for me if I wasn't able to. Jennifer gave me a piece of mind knowing that my wishes were going to be heard. While I was in labor she was amazing she instructed my husband what to do and kept him involved. I feel the hospital staff was more attentive because she was there. Jennifer was so attentive and paid attention to my needs and my body language, she listened to what I said and helped me in a way that worked for my specific needs!! This is soo important during a time when almost anything could make me snap and get me frustrated. Her kind gentle responsive help got me through the toughest parts of my at home births! I highly recommend her services 🥰
