My wife and I had Aimee help us as both doula and as a lactation consultant, as well as attending the Calm Birth course. We couldn't recommend her highly enough - she was compassionate, non-judgemental about all our choices, medically well-informed, ethical, highly organisied, approachable, responsive, and really well connected to other useful services, groups and practitioners. I booked Aimee in the day I gave birth. With wanting to breastfeed but understanding it is hard I wanted to support. I feel so grateful that I was able to see Aimee day three postpartum to get me through my engorgement period. As a first time mum I had no idea what this was and how painful it was. I thought I would have to give up but with Aimee support and reassurance I got through this. Aimee is kind, extremely knowledgeable and patient with answering all my questions. I highly recommend Aimee as a lactation consultant !
I reached out to Aimee when I was having difficulty feeding my newborn and it was the best decision I made. Not only did she make time to see me during her holidays (feeling my stress) but she was able to diagnose and refer me on to two other fantastic resources who helped me and my baby and things are significantly better. Highly recommend.
My husband and I have recently completed the Calm Birth course with Aimee and cannot recommend it enough. It was such an informative, balanced and empowering class! Aimee created such a warm and welcoming environment where we felt comfortable to ask any question. We have come away feeling really empowered and prepared for the birth of our bub!
I couldn’t recommend this breastfeeding support service highly enough. The guidance and support we received over the first few weeks made such a significant difference to our breastfeeding journey and gave me so much more confidence.
