I saw Dr. Birnbaum in July 2016 related to a dermatologic problem on my face. During the exam of my face, I was fully dressed, he cupped my left breast for a moment with his right hand. He did this while making eye contact with me. I was speechless. I thought he would at least apologize and call it a mistake, but he said nothing.
Never got to see Doctor, he must be a good doctor but his Receptionist is rude and snobby, ridiculed me just because I had to move my appointments 2 times. She was insisting that I "missed" an appointment while i did not. I was always calling and asking to move it. Communication via Patient Gateway messages is completely ignored by this office, never got any answer from them. Waiting time for an appointment is very long. Not recommended . Find other dermatology office.
I'm a physician - and a patient of Dr. Birnbaum. Over the years I also sought his dermatological advice for my family. Dr. Birnbaum is an exceptionally skilled and compassionate clinician. His analytical pursuit through objective and subjective information enriched with superb clinical judgment in face of uncertainty are always personally assuring, professionally exemplary, and were right on the mark. And Dr. Birnbaum's office staff are just a delight to be served by.
