The staff did not explain anything during the process. They used, the patient's, (my wife's) PICC line to inject the radioactive tracer, but did not secure the PICC line tube, did not close the cap at the end. The patient has memory deficiency but no one was able to be with her. My wife came out severely stressed and upset at the experience and totally confused.
