I had purchased the Charleston Battery Bench 23 years ago while visiting Charleston / Recenty I went on line to order the replacement slats . They were shipped promptly and well packaged. I stopped by my the local hardware store for some paint for the cast iron sides. Both the manager and the owner picked up the slat and said "You don't see quality like this today." slats were finished to perfection . If your looking for a bench this it the place, made in the USA quality, don't look elsewhere .
My wife and I visited Charleston in late April for our 10th wedding anniversary. We visited the store on one of our first days in town and my wife and I immediately fell in love with a vintage crystal bourbon decanter. We checked in over the next few days and on our last day there, I stopped in the store one last time and saw it still available. The antiques are exquisite without being overpriced and the salespeople are friendly without being pushy!! You get better deals on English silver there than in the silver vaults in London!!
