I have to say the doctors, nurses and receptionists are all absolutely wonderful here, I have always been treated with kindness and respect. The reception team are very friendly and helpful, they have improved considerably under a new leadership. The nurses I have seen are wonderful, they have been at Birkwood for quite some years and it is very comforting to see familiar faces. Disgusting behaviour from one of the nurses don't even know what she's doing and threatening never listens to you when explaining stuff and always messing you about 1 minute it's go to a&e the next is don't got to a&e for them to say it all should be done at the docs
A joke. Too many incredible mistakes done by nurses and receptionists. and no one knows what they are doing. Too many mistakes to mention but the stress and time wasting as result is a travesty. Looooong wait on phone to get through with very annoying voice message despite being number one in queue. Most likely some staff are drinking tea or gossiping. Thank you so very, very much to all the staff at Birkwood, I attended today to see Dr. James and felt listened to, "seen" (as "the kids" say!), and was met with nothing less than 100% attentiveness by the doctor. And for someone with my background, and my problems, this means so very, very much!!! Also I feel I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Oplopopiadis for contributing significantly towards my journey back to full health.
