An exceptional doctor. I have seen Dr. Rakel for decades. She sees me for the whole person, and helps me understand my health in a profound and insightful way. Dr.Rakel is a MD and takes most health insurance. She is trained in both traditional and holistic medicine. Dr. Rakel is German, and in Germany they integrate mainstream medicine and holistic medicine much better than we do. I would trust her for most issues, but especially ones like autoimmune issues that most doctors struggle to treat well.

Dr. Rakel has a excellent approach to integrating alternative treatment modalities into Western Medicine. I feeling much better after starting hormone replacement therapy and other nutritional supplements in which I was deficient that was not identified by gyn or GP. Being in health field myself, I have experienced much better overall wellbeing with her advice and coping with multiple chronic disease and autoimmune disease. Highly recommend!
