August 6th I came in because my AC was blowing cold then warm air intermittently. I was told I was a can low on freon so I paid $55.12 for the freon and labor. August 7th my AC stopped cooling completely and I was told to drop our car off on Monday, August 11, 2025, so the AC system could be inspected and diagnosed. Good, honest mechanics. The issue is with the business itself. There is almost never a receptionist on site. I have stood in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before and finally just called the shops public number and ONE OF THE MECHANICS stopped working to come answer the phone. I said "hello I'm in the waiting room can someone please come help me" and he came in and did all the receptionist's work to fill out my paperwork and take my keys etc. This is very common. Once again, the folks here at Birdwell hit it out of the park. They got the Z in with a hard to do starter replacement. Cory had it done in no time and even told me some things to keep an eye on in the future. The only place I'll ever take my vehicles. I will not use anyone else to work on my vehicles. I’ve used Birdwells for many years and he could have charged me much more and I would have been just as happy. I’m just like many other as I don’t have money to throw away but several times I’m thinking my repair must be this or that thinking it’s going to be costly and sometimes it is. However, sometimes when I think it going to be a lot of money it’s a minor repair. Very honest and professional!! Wish I could say it was nice experience. Made an appointment for service after waiting almost 2 weeks. Dropped it off and was told next day it would be done. Called a few days later, haven't looked. A whole week and a weekend later, they didnt even know what to look at so had to drive it away for a more organized shop. Do better.
