We bought a audi from carmax. The pirelli tires on it were unexeptable. They were dry rotted severely and very dangerous to have on our hybrid vehicle that weighs almost 6,000 lb and produces a lot of torque. Carmax used them as a sublet to check the tires and all they did was measure the tread on the tires and said the tires were fine, completely disregarding or ignoring this extreme dry rot, cracking and flaking that was going on with the tires. Came here for the good reviews, but I was given a quote of $35 to secure heat shield on the phone, I said let’s do it and I was charged $145 at counter. wish they would’ve told me the correct price on the phone when I asked, I was disappointed, lost my business and money for any future repairs and referrals.
